1600 Series Overview

Designed with the reliability you expect from Avaya, one‑X Deskphone Value Edition telephones provide critical features and capabilities not often found in competitively priced models. Avaya one-X Deskphone Value Edition combines traditional telephone features such as LED lights and fixed feature buttons (e.g. conference, transfer, hold) with the latest in user experience features such as softkeys, a navigation wheel and a context sensitive user interface in select models. It also offers as a standard: 2-way speakerphones, backlit displays and multi-line capabilities.

Avaya 1608-I IP Deskphone

Also for users with basic communication needs, the 1608 supports eight line appearances/feature keys with dual LEDs. It includes several fixed feature keys for common tasks, including conference, transfer, drop, hold and mute. In addition, it features a two-way speakerphone, a headset jack and an extra 10/100 Ethernet port for a co-located laptop or PC.

Avaya 1616-I IP Deskphone

With support for 16 line appearances, bridged appearances, or feature keys, the 1616 model is designed for users who monitor their own extensions in addition to other lines. It features a backlit display on a separately adjustable hinge, and like the 1608, it provides a headset jack and an extra 10/100 Ethernet port.

IP DECT Overview

Avaya IP DECT mobile devices deliver high-quality wireless voice communications to employees who roam within a building or campus. They offer all the benefits of the DECT standard, including high security, scalability, and low power consumption.

Avaya currently offers two handset models, along with an outdoor and an indoor base station. The base stations have eight voice and four signaling channels, and can be powered directly via the LAN. The indoor stations can also be connected to main power via an optional external adaptor.

The entry-level 3701 handset offers basic telephony features, a 50-entry contact list, multiple ring tones, and support for twelve languages. It has a talk time of twenty hours, and a standby time of 200 hours.

IP Wireless Overview

Avaya offers a variety of phones to extend the power of IP telephony over a wireless LAN, with access to productivity enhancing features like conferencing and corporate directories. Highly scalable, these phones are designed for a range of end-user needs and environments.

The Avaya 3641 and 3645 phones integrate with Avaya Aura, Communication Manager 2.2 and higher, and IP Office 4.1 and higher servers. The phones leverage the Avaya Voice Priority Processor and Open Application Interface server. The 3641 and 3645 phones support 802.11a, b, and g networks.

Avaya IP Wireless Phones are durable and liquid/dust resistant. They have large displays with an easy-to-user interface and offer battery options for extended talk time.

Designed for the casual wireless user, the Avaya 3631 phone supports 802.11b and g standards, and operates with Avaya Aura and Communication Manager 3.0 and higher servers.
